We've love promoting opportunities to 'try something new' and there's plenty of examples in this week's bulletin ... starting with three new arts & crafts groups.
St Wulstans & St Edmunds Church on Poulton Road is hosting a Craft Club on Tuesday afternoons, from 2pm to 4pm. Pop along with your own projects and also enjoy a natter and a brew, and the good company of other local residents.
Luke and the Positive Futures Team from the Volunteer Centre Wyre launch their new Art Support Group at the end of this month. Sessions will be on Fridays from 25th July, 1pm to 3pm at St Mary's Primary School on London Street. As well as discovering your creative side there's also wellbeing tips and a chance to make connections.

The Rebel Stitchers is, as you might have guessed a sewing group. Their first meeting will be on Tuesday 15th July, 10.30am - 12noon at Strive Cafe, next to Flakefleet Primary School and will focus on the basics, starting with making a coaster. Dates and venues for further sessions will be announced and social media is being set up to share more.

Ladies and girls looking for something a little more energetic might like to visit Fleetwood Cricket Club's Festival Day is on Sunday 13th July, 10.30am to 3pm.
It's a fun way to introduce the sport to women and girls with no experience needed. Teams of 6 or more will be picked on the day for a competition and final. The £4pp entry fee includes a glass of Prosecco or a soft drink.

The Crown Ballroom is holding a series of dance workshops this Summer.
Starting this Saturday with TV's Dianne Buswell and Vito Coppola, there's a fabulous line-up of events to enjoy and inspire you to take to the floor. Tickets are selling fast!

Come on down and have a look around over 100 stalls. It’s more than just a 'car boot'. there's a real sense of community, it's somewhere to meet friends and there's great food served from the cafe!

AND FINALLY ...
... it was lovely to join other partners from The HUB earlier today at a taster event for the new Heart of The Hub Community Cafe. We enjoyed the some of the hot drinks and tasty treats from the menu and met the wonderful volunteers and staff who'll be welcoming visitors later this month.
The cafe will officially open to the public on Tuesday 22nd July at 11am with speeches at 12 ... all welcome! A number of community organisations are already booked in to host drop-in events in the future and the space is going to be a great addition to the Fleetwood community.
