THANK YOU TO OUR FUNDERS
Healthier Fleetwood would like to express our gratitude to the following organisations for their support:
RANK FOUNDATION
The Rank Foundation was established by the flour miller and film maker Arthur Rank. The Foundation is built on his enterprising spirit, commitment to community and Christian faith. We work in communities across the UK to encourage leaders, develop entrepreneurial mindsets and form strong networks to tackle society’s challenges.
May 2026 - Healthier Fleetwood was awarded £25,000 per year until March 2029. Funding will cover the provision of 2 existing p/t staff (in total 35-40 hours per week) and a contribution towards running costs for the organisation during this period.

The extension will be located in the Irish Sea, around 19km WSW off the Walney Island coast in Cumbria. Orsted committed to providing a Community Fund for the lifetime of the Project.
