Every month the friendly team at Fleetwood Library host a varied progamme of activities and events bringing people together in a safe and welcoming environment. There's arts & crafts, creative writing, language lessons, games, crosswords and Scrabble, local history and much more - these are usually free to attend or a small donation is appreciated.

This wonderful venue on Cartmel Avenue, Fleetwood behind the Parade shops is a real hub for the Larkholme community. They host a full week of groups and activities including Bingo, Tai Chi, Chair-Based Exercise, Knit & Knatter, Light Movement & Dance, Pilates, Patchwork, Dog Training, Sequence Dancing, coffee mornings and more!

FLEETWOOD MEN'S SHED

The Shedders now offer their support pretty much every day of the week, for men & women, Their safe and welcoming community hub hosts groups and activities including a number of drop-in sessions for a hot drink and a chance to talk. The Chill Lounge (ladies group) also hold their weekly meetings and other events at the venue.

WESTVIEW COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

Originally the Residents Association the staff and volunteers have been supporting their local community for 24 years and presenting a positive view of the Westview/Chatsworth area of Fleetwood. Numerous groups and activities, many for families and children; a base for courses on cookery, budgeting and more; host for the Duke of Edinburgh awards; and a distribution point for food and essential items.

THE HUB @ FLEETWOOD HOSPITAL

Service providers and community groups are working together to create a new community hub in the Town's former hospital building. The NHS outpatients provision continues, joined by Blackpool & Fylde College, Macmillan Cancer Support, The Pantry foodbank, Fleetwood Youth Hub, Regenda Homes and Counselling in the Community. There's also a Changing Places facility. Further partners will be announced.
