A once-tired storage room in the colonnade, Marine Hall has been transformed into a fully equipped bike repair workshop, thanks to £22,000 of funding from the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The refurbishment included the installation of secure shutters, new workbenches, storage units, and a full suite of tools, creating a safe, organised, and welcoming space for volunteers to carry out vital repairs. It's the Heritage Open Days weekend on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st September and many of Fleetwood's historic and much loved venues will be opening their doors to welcome visitors. Among the highlights is a chance to call in to Rossall Observation Tower, enjoy the stunning views across Morecambe Bay and meet the team of volunteers from Coastwatch Fleetwood.
