This is NOT a choir, it's a 'singing group' that meet for good times and good tunes. A great example of an activity supporting both physical and mental health with an emphasis on having fun! New members are always welcome. £2pp at Thornton and £1pp for Fleetwood group.

TIA'S CROWN

Based in the Crown Ballroom studios Tia's Crown is a registered charity and their friendly team offer an introduction to dancing that's also good for body and soul.

 

They hold regular, FREE 'Let's Dance' sessions as a taster and organise major fundraising events to support the NHS and other good causes as well as competitions for dancers of all standards.

Fleetwood's famous drum, bugle and bell lyre marching fun band have been a huge part of the local community for many years. New and returning members are always welcome to join the band for weekly rehearsals and to be a part of events such as the Town's annual Remembrance Parade.

Whether you are an experienced dancer or it's Strictly for fun, the Afternoon Dances in the beautiful Marine Hall ballroom are a great way to exercise and socialise. Admission is £5 per person, tickets can be purchased in advance and are usually available on the day.

Rehearsals are on Fridays at 7.30 – 9.30 pm

at Trinity Baptist Church, 206 Poulton Road, Fleetwood, FY7 7LB

 

The Society performs regular choral concerts during the year and offers training in singing whilst exploring a wide repertoire of choral music. They also hold a number of fundraising events throughout the year and have an active Social Committee who are always open to new ideas for fundraising. There is an annual fee to become a member.
