It's exciting times at The HUB Fleetwood as more and more residents and community organisations discover the opportunities available.
With fantastic partners Regenda Homes, Counselling in the Community, The Pantry Foodbank, The Volunteer Centre Wyre, Fleetwood Town Community Trust Youth Hub, Fylde Coast Macmillan Information and Support Service, Blackpool and The Fylde College and Healthier Fleetwood already working and connecting within the building ... and the One Fylde Community Cafe opening next month, the vision of a vibrant, valued facility for Fleetwood is really taking shape!
Healthier Fleetwood is seeing the benefit of moving into The HUB, with local residents calling in to find out what's happening in the community, and as somewhere to offer support to the network of voluntary groups.
We've also been delighted to pass on many inquiries about using the Community Cafe space for drop-in events ... > follow One Fylde on Facebook for all the latest news
The Fleetwood Trust, owners of The HUB Fleetwood want to hear your comments and feedback about the development of the hospital building.
Are you able to access new services and support here in Fleetwood since The HUB opened?
What difference has the building made to you and your family?
What would you like to see happen next at The HUB?
Many of you will also remember when the whole of the site was a fully-operational hospital. While the amazing NHS staff have continued to work from the Outpatients departments based on Pharos Street, much of the building was closed long before the Fleetwood Trust took ownership. You might have memories of being a patient, visitor or member of staff … have you got a story to tell? Contributions will be collated and shared through displays at The HUB and across media channels.
> If you would like to get involved … please send your messages by email to thehubfleetwood@gmail.com
