Adult education courses launched in Fleetwood
If you'd like to learn something new; perhaps build your confidence with everyday Maths to manage your household budget and energy costs or help with the children's homework; be better prepared for the future challenges to your finances or even want money-saving ideas on decorating and improving your home ... help is available in Fleetwood.
Healthier Fleetwood is delighted to be working with the Fleetwood Learning Centres based in The Hub, the former hospital building on North Albert Street. From Monday 27th November they are launching a programme of adult courses offering valuable, practical support to local residents aged 19 and over both employed and unemployed.
The courses are taught over just 9 hours by the friendly team and you even receive a £30 shopping voucher for each course completed - there's 9 to choose from!
Liz, Peter and Tom from the college will be joining the Healthier Fleetwood drop-ins at Fleetwood Library on MONDAYS from 10am to 12 noon. Call in for a chat with them about what's involved and how you can get started.
If you can't get along to the drop-ins please contact the Fleetwood-based college team on 01253 504690 or email listening@healthierfleetwood.co.uk. If you are being supported by a Fleetwood Social Prescriber, they can connect you too.
