SEVEN WAYS IN SEVEN DAYS TO SUPPORT YOUR HEALTH & WELLBEING

Monday 7th August … Cancer Prehab Coffee Hour from 1pm & Fitness Class from 2pm at Fleetwood Methodist Church. Meet people going through similar experiences and find out about what health and wellbeing support is available. No need to pre-book. Hosted by Blackpool Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service, Fitness 50 and Fleetwood Town Community Trust


Tuesday 8th August … Young people aged 12 to 19 years (or up to 25 for S.E.N.D.) are invited to the FREE Wyre Youth Fest event at Memorial Park, 1pm to 4pm. Food, art, inflatables, tug-of-war.


Wednesday 9th August … Support our amazing local firefighters and pop along to the Fleetwood Fire Station Family Open Day from 11am to 3pm. Meet the crews, watch demonstrations, enjoy the fun & games, and browse the stalls.


Thursday 10th August … Let your feet take you to the North Euston Hotel Tea Dance from 2pm to 4pm. The admission of £6pp includes live keyboard music, tea & biscuits and the good company of the dancers, all levels of experience very welcome.


Friday 11th August … Call in to the Healthier Fleetwood Wellbeing & Community Information Centre, Affinity Lancashire Outlet Shopping for the FREE Chatter Café. Find out what’s happening in the community, meet the volunteers from The Walnut Tree & the Fleetwood Social Prescribers. 11am to 1pm.

Sunday 13th August … Rumour has it the weather is set to be good next weekend, so take a stroll along the Prom, maybe Fleetwood Marsh Country Park - enjoy the fresh air and views that make our Town such a special place!
