New support sessions for women

'Waking The Warrior' is a new 10 week free course for women who want to take control of their own lives and choices.

The course is led by Lisa Bennett, who will be well known to many for her work in the community over recent years.

Lisa says, "The course is for women who need a boost and time to rethink what they want to do with their own life? It's a chance to look at the opportunities that are available in these difficult times? We will look at how to realise the skills you already have and how to use them; learn new ways to cope with stress and anxiety and how to best support your children and families mentally and emotionally. We will meet in a safe environment and with a mix of 1 to 1 and small group sessions"

The first sessions are Thursday 15th October, 9am - 11am at the Broadway Rooms, St. Nicholas Church, Highbury Avenue OR on Friday 16th October, 9am - 11am at St. Wulstan’s Church Hall, Poulton Road ... but don't worry if that's too short notice, you can join in over the forthcoming weeks.

For information and to get involved contact Lisa on 07828 470154 or email lbspokes@outlook.com

Healthier Fleetwood is a not-for-profit organisation supporting the physical and mental health of the Town's residents by connecting them to each other, services and voluntary groups in the community. As an individual's confidence grows they take more control of their own wellbeing and an active role in the decisions that affect them. We are independent of but work in close partnership with the many organisations supporting the community.
