Everyone with an interest in the arts and community events for Fleetwood is invited to an informal evening at Fleetwood Museum on Thursday 12th February from 6.30pm to around 8pm.
It's an opportunity to network with creatives and community groups, share news about your work and gather support for future projects in Fleetwood. The evening is hosted by the Fleetwood Arts Partnership, a working group of Future Fleetwood. New members are welcome to join the Partnership, bringing ideas, expertise or time as a volunteer to help design and deliver an all-year-round programme of events for Fleetwood. Perhaps you have experience of event management, administration, funding, marketing ... maybe you've had an idea for an arts group but don't know how to get started ... do you have a few hours to spare to help an event committee? Come along for a chat!
It will be a very friendly, welcoming evening and free refreshments will be available. Please note that access to the Museum is via steps at the front of the building. Anyone under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. Don't worry if you can't attend this time at this venue ... the evening isn't about making decisions, it's about making connections AND there will be more networking events across Fleetwood in the weeks and months ahead.

Thrive Fleetwood is a community network bringing together health, education and local services to help every child and family thrive. They are working with the teams from the Volunteer Centre Wyre and Fleetwood Police to host 'The Welcome Table', a free event for local families with school age children. It's a hot meal, fun & games, music and more and the response so far has been wonderful to hear - one parent said, "I can't recommend this service enough, me and my girls have enjoyed it beyond words and have connected with other families and made friends in ways we never would have."
Places for The Welcome Table are by referral only - please speak to your child’s school to access this event or for further information email courtney@blackpoolvolunteers.org.uk
