GOOD News: 22nd April

There's going to be a new way to find out what's happening in Fleetwood to support your health and wellbeing! On Friday 23rd April at 10am we will be opening a new unit at the Affinity Lancashire outlet to share the many groups, activities and events starting to resume again and available to residents, and visitors.

You'll find us in the first unit on the left as you enter the Outlet, immediately after Claire's - it was formerly the Craghoppers store, they are now a little further round in with Regatta Outdoor.

Initially, we will be open a couple of days a week, Tuesdays and Fridays, 10am to 4pm but we hope to extend this in the weeks and months ahead.

Healthier Fleetwood is managing the unit on behalf of all the organisations and voluntary groups working in the Town. Inside you'll find out what's happening and contact details for more information - staff and volunteers from our partners will join us and share their work. The unit will open within the on-going COVID guidelines for hygiene and social distancing.

Our thanks to the management and staff at Affinity for their help and support of the Fleetwood community. If you are coming to Affinity for shopping or to meet friends for a coffee, please do drop in and see us and find out more about the many ways you can get involved.

Please also send us any community news, information supporting health and wellbeing you'd like us to share. Call in to see us in person during opening hours or you can email us ...

Until the next time, enjoy the opportunity to get out and about if you can, take care.
