Promoting the arts, heritage and culture is one of the core themes identified by Future Fleetwood to encourage the regeneration of our Town.
A working group was formed earlier this year and a successful bid to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund supported four Fleetwood events and arts-based projects ...

Flakefest at Flakefleet School
the upcoming Fleetwood Civic Art project
The Fleetwood Arts, Heritage & Culture Partnership welcomes individuals, organisations, businesses, voluntary groups and committees to share their ideas and creativity, to pull together a Town-wide, all-year-round programme of projects and events.
An open meeting will be held on the evening of Wednesday 21st January at Fleetwood's Marine Hall for anyone and everyone who would like to be involved.
Do you have an arts-based project or event that needs help to get off the ground or become more sustainable?
Can you offer your expertise and time to the partnership?
Would you like to join a pool of volunteers to help promote and host local events?
There’s so many exciting opportunities for our great Town in the future and the Fleetwood Arts, Heritage & Culture Partnership will work closely with the whole community.
More details about the Open Meeting will be shared through Future Fleetwood in the early part of the New Year - for now, make a note of the date!
The Baton Hope UK Tour started on the Fylde Coast in September, calling through Fleetwood to raise awareness of suicide and the impact it can have on family members and friends.
Organisers have sent us an update and their thanks to the Fleetwood community for supporting the campaign. Karen and Amy say ...
"We wanted to share with you the final total raised from the Baton of Hope tour was £16,494.22. This funding will help continue the fight against suicide prevention and post-vention locally across Blackpool, Wyre, and Fylde, providing families and anyone affected by loss or suicidal thoughts with access to urgent support at their own pace. What a wonderful achievement this has been, and we can’t thank you all enough!"
"It has finally sunk in how special it was to launch the Baton of Hope UK Tour 2025 back in September, we couldn’t have done it without you; it was truly incredible!
The Fleetwood Hub showcased the very best of the community, from those of you that are practitioners in the field to community members, support groups and with Fleetwood Town Football Club at the heart of the town. I know we are biased but each and every one of you did Fleetwood proud, it was by far the most joyous and had the most attendees, we cannot thank you enough."
"From Amy and I, together with the Solace team and the wider Empowerment Charity we wish you a wonderful Christmas and a fabulous New Year."
If you couldn't make it along to the Warm Matters Wyre event in Fleetwood last week, help is available to keep you and your home safe and warm this winter.
Among the organisations who attended was Green Rose, they run the telephone advice aspect of the Cosy Homes in Lancashire initiative.
Rachel from Green Rose says, "We aim to keep people warm at home, help them go greener and save them money on energy bills. Our advisors are friendly experts who can listen to what people need help with, then give free independent advice and check eligibility for grants and home visit schemes from a number of different providers."
"It's a great person-centred service for those not confident accessing information online or who just want a trusted voice to guide them. Crucially, they can refer directly into schemes where criteria are met so it's a gateway or "one stop shop" to getting energy-related entitlements."

These will be gathered together and published in a book in the New Year. New members are welcome to join - meetings are held on Tuesdays in the Fleetwood Fire Station Community Room.
> To get involved please contact connor@blackpoolvolunteers.org.uk or you can telephone 07554 454574.
