ADVENT CALENDAR: Day 3

Today on our Advent Calendar we feature an organisation which has been supporting local residents for 25 years ... Westview Community Association.


From their base on Eden Avenue, the association has hosted a huge and varied programme of activities and events since 1998. Many are delivered in partnership with other agencies and voluntary groups including Wyre Council and Fleetwood Town Community Trust but residents are always at the heart of what they do.


Westview welcome all ages, whether it be adults for the Bash Hub on a Monday or the ongoing Chatty Chef courses, or young people at through the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and homework club.

They are a Warm Spaces venue offering several sessions a week where residents can call in for a hot drink, a snack and some friendly conversation.


With the Christmas season upon us they are taking donations for their annual Gif Appeal, passing on new and pre-loved items to children in the community.


Thankyou to the team at Westview Community Association - the trustees, staff and volunteers, and their partners for all the work they do and we hope you all have a lovely Christmas.
