On Day 2 of our Advent Calendar we highlight Larkholme community centre ...

Situated on Cartmel Avenue, behind the Larkholme shops, this is a true 'community hub' providing a welcoming, safe space for residents to meet and enjoy a number of great activities.

The line-up does change but there's pretty much something for everyone with fitness classes led by local trainers, arts & crafts, dancing, guest speakers, coffee mornings and more.

There's a regular bingo session on Monday afternoons and the Centre is also hosting a 'Chocolate & Wine' Bingo event supporting the Fleetwood community defibrillators fundraising, on Tuesday 7th December.

The recent Christmas Fayre raised over £750 which will be reinvested into even more activities at the Centre, supporting the health and wellbeing of local residents in these difficult times.
