Advent Calendar ... Day 16

We're celebrating geeks today on Day 16 of our Advent Calendar!

That is meant as a compliment ... the guys at the West Fleetwood Computer Clinic have been helping local residents get the most out of their digital devices and stay connected for quite a few years now, an extension of the great community work of Emmanuel Church Fleetwood.

The group hold regular drop-in sessions at RossallTavern Fleetwood, the next is on Monday 20th December from 7.30pm so if you have a problem with a laptop or tablet that needs sorting before Christmas, call in for some advice.

We've hosted a couple of clinics at our Information Centre, Affinity Lancashire recently and more than once a quick chat with the guys has sorted out our own tech problems.

And with connection to the internet so important now, the West Fleetwood Computer Clinic has also been refurbishing unwanted but working devices and passing them on to individuals and families - donated devices are always welcome.

Dave Carlos is one of the merry band and he says, “I love seeing people get the best out of these complex and frankly, not very friendly machines!"
