ANON: THE ARTS COURSE BY AND FOR FLEETWOOD RESIDENTS

Healthier Fleetwood has been awarded funding to deliver an arts course for local residents in recovery from alcohol or substance abuse and would like to thank Red Rose Recovery for the funding and their support.

The ANON course will run for 12 weeks starting from Tuesday 11th September at the Fylde Coast YMCA Lofthouse building on London Street, Fleetwood.

Talented local artist Heather Christian will lead the course which use a variety of mediums to help those taking part gain confidence through art and if they wish, be part of a celebration exhibition at the end of the course. A copy of the course information can be downloaded here.

Places are limited and must be pre-booked with priority given to residents living in FY7 postcodes. Please contact us by email using listening@healthierfleetwood.co.uk or call 07399 093835 to apply for a place.

Healthier Fleetwood is a not-for-profit organisation supporting the physical and mental health of the Town's residents by connecting them to each other, services and voluntary groups in the community. As an individual's confidence grows they take more control of their own wellbeing and an active role in the decisions that affect them. We are independent of but work in close partnership with the many organisations supporting the community.
