Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde CVS have been funded through Lancashire County Council’s Central Gateway Fund to provide advice, support and training to voluntary sector organisations in Wyre and Fylde.

Simon Lawton was at our recent Tea & Talk event to explain more about this opportunity.

Advice is available, free of charge, to any non-profit organisation based in Wyre and Fylde. Topics covered will include governance, policies, fundraising and bid-writing, planning, marketing and monitoring.

The Programme also includes monthly training courses on topics such as safeguarding and fundraising – check out the CVS ebulletin for further information or contact.

Anyone interested in this support should contact Simon by email or mobile: 07528726554.

UPDATE: Simon will also be attending our Open Meeting on Wednesday 7th March, from 6pm at the Broadway Rooms by St Nicholas Church, Broadway, Fleetwood

Healthier Fleetwood is a not-for-profit organisation supporting the physical and mental health of the Town's residents by connecting them to each other, services and voluntary groups in the community. As an individual's confidence grows they take more control of their own wellbeing and an active role in the decisions that affect them. We are independent of but work in close partnership with the many organisations supporting the community.
