GUARDIAN ANGELS - DEMENTIA BUDDY SCHEME

Are you working with people who could be vulnerable? Would they benefit from free interventions? Are you interested in finding out more about the Guardian Angels – Dementia Buddy Scheme?

Julie Simpson of Lancashire Fire & Rescue says, "We are working in partnership with a number of local agencies to help reduce the risk of fires in the home and reduce the impact of cold on vulnerable individuals. We are also a key partner in the new Guardian Angel – Dementia Buddy Scheme recently launched in Lancashire.

We would like to invite people to attend an Information Event on 28th October from 10am to 12 noon or 1.30pm to 3.30pm at Fleetwood Community Fire Station, Radcliffe Road, Fleetwood FY7 6UJ.

You will learn more about the interventions and FREE equipment offered by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and how we can assist you when considering the needs and risks of people you work with. Also find out more about the risks and how you can reduce them. Learn more about the benefits of the Dementia Buddy Scheme and the referral process."
