It's a privilege to be celebrating some of the unsung heroes from the Fleetwood community on our Advent Calendar and there's also several familiar organisations and venues to thank.

We've been down at Fleetwood Library this morning for our drop-in session and as always there was a lovely, welcoming atmosphere.

The friendly staff were in festive fancy dress as the weekly 'Baby Bounce' session was also a Christmas Disco for the little ones ... they were expecting a special visitor too!

Upstairs one of the many popular groups was taking place, today was an art class with Robert, and of course plenty of people calling in for books and to use the free computers and internet access.

Among the busy schedule of groups and events ... next Tuesday (12th) from 3pm - 4pm The Friends of Fleetwood Library present a 'Winter Singalong' with Roger Lloyd Jones. Join in lots of old and new favourites to lift your spirits whilst enjoying a mince pie and a cup of tea or coffee.

See a full list of What's On at Fleetwood Library this month at and the venue is a 'Warm Space' so a hot drinks trolley is available during opening hours.

And we also saw this lovely idea ... a Book Secret Santa! There are some clues but you pick a 'mystery' book, check it out at the desk and take it home to read over the holidays.

Just one of the ways Helen and all the team at Fleetwood Library support the wellbeing of the local community ... thank you.
