    The volunteers and residents at Westview Community Association have been at the heart of the support from Fleetwood Together during the last 18 months. Naomi and the team have been continuing the great work this Summer by collecting out-grown uniforms in good condition and passing these on to families putting together their ‘back to school’ list.     Holiday club success for Wyre

    This summer Wyre Council launched its first free Holiday Activity and Food clubs, which over 500 children and young people have enjoyed over the last four weeks. Funded by the Department for Education, the local summer holiday clubs were held at venues across Wyre for both primary and secondary aged children who are eligible for free school meals.     We start this week by sharing the great things happening with the lovely folks at Larkholme Community Centre on Cartmel Avenue in Fleetwood. There's a full week of groups and activities including Bingo, Tai Chi, Chair-Based Exercise, Knit & Knatter, Light Movement & Dance, Pilates, Patchwork, Dog Training, Sequence Dancing and coffee mornings!     Hello everyone, we hope you are enjoying the Summer so far with it's usual mixed bag of weather from baking sunshine to torrential rain. Here's this week's round-up of some of the Good News we've heard about. Men's Shed Fleetwood have resumed face-to-face meetings ahead of opening their refurbished premises.
