    GOOD NEWS: 31st July

Hello again, we hope you are safe and well. Another round-up of news below with more local venues and groups taking positive steps. None of these things happen without a lot of hard work behind the scenes as staff and volunteers come to terms with new regulations and procedures. Sometimes progress can appear slow and measures may seem a little 'over the top' but maybe out of the hardship of the past months and the inconveniences to come, we will have a greater appreciation of

    GOOD NEWS: 24th July

Hello again, we hope you are safe and well. As new COVID regulations regarding face coverings come into force there's a useful guide to the changes on the Fylde & Wyre CCG website. This is for everyone's benefit, a simple way we can all make a difference and slow the spread of infection. Lots to share this week, hope you find the featured articles interesting and useful ... WORDS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Healthier Fleetwood was recently approached by researcher Lucie Meadows on behalf of Lapidus International and University of Chester. GOOD NEWS: 10th July

Hello again, we hope you are safe and well. It's for each of us to decide how much we want to get out into the community and how confident we are in the opportunities available. More venues are reopening and with that life feels a little closer to 'normal' so the theme of this week's Newsletter is very much about looking forward ... BACK IN BUSINESS Great to see Fleetwood Indoor Market reopening. With the necessary santizing and social distancing precautions the Town has one

    GOOD NEWS: 3rd July

Hello again, we hope you are well. Another week, another change to what we can and can't do. There seems to be a mix of relief and apprehension in the community as more lock-down restrictions are lifted. With each step we can all do our bit to make the world a little bit safer and happier, by taking responsibility for our own health and for those around us. As always we take this opportunity to share just some of the good news stories we've heard about recently ... HAPPY BIRT

Healthier Fleetwood is a not-for-profit organisation supporting the physical and mental health of the Town's residents by connecting them to each other, services and voluntary groups in the community. As an individual's confidence grows they take more control of their own wellbeing and an active role in the decisions that affect them. We are independent of but work in close partnership with the many organisations supporting the community.
