It hasn’t been the best of weather so far for the Half Term holidays and with the Halloween celebrations underway. We’ve opened our new Wellbeing & Community Information Centre at Affinity for an extra day this week, and been able to meet more residents and visitors. GOOD NEWS - 21st October

This Saturday (23rd October) is the 100th Fleetwood Promenade parkrun event. These weekly, timed 5k runs started in 2018, were paused during the pandemic and resumed earlier this year. Art project opens the door to recovery in Wyre

Wyre Council, Regenda Homes and M&Y Maintenance and Construction have launched a brand new community art project to reflect on the impact of the pandemic and look forward to a positive future of recovery. ‘Doors’ is an arts and health project which quite literally uses old doors to tell tales of Covid and lockdown in the houses they once fronted. In September 2020, M&Y Maintenance and Construction replaced the front doors of 50 Regenda Homes properties based in Fleetwood. Rat

Healthier Fleetwood is a not-for-profit organisation supporting the physical and mental health of the Town's residents by connecting them to each other, services and voluntary groups in the community. As an individual's confidence grows they take more control of their own wellbeing and an active role in the decisions that affect them. We are independent of but work in close partnership with the many organisations supporting the community.
