Advent Calendar Day 10

Today on our Advent Calendar we thank somebody who has been bringing smiles to the community with her kindness and her skill.

If you've seen any of the fantastic crocheted characters and displays around Fleetwood over the last couple of years, they are the amazing work of local resident Karen Thomas.

Whether it be for a special occasion like the Jubilee or Remembrance Day, to mark the changing of the seasons, or as part of the LeftCoast Inside Out Exhibitions at Fleetwood Hospital, Karen's creations have been brightening up the Town.

We were delighted to have some of her work in the window of our Information Centre for Autumn and there's some festive fun at Affinity Lancashire Outlet Shopping now.
