Fleetwood Market - The Seaside Shopping Experience is hosting some interactive art sessions on Saturday 20 October. Help create a large contemporary piece of artwork to be part of the Homecoming Parade later in the year, with artist in residence Linda Copeland. Join in with small crafts whilst watching Linda create her parade piece.

On Sunday 21 October why not visit Rossall Point Tower to observe our coastal birds? Join Wyre’s rangers from 9am – 10am for a free, easy guided walk.

Treat the kids to a trip to the theatre from Wednesday 24 October to Saturday 27 October as Thornton Cleveleys Operatic Society bring Annie to Marine Hall in Fleetwood. Performances take place every night at 7.30pm and there’s a Saturday Matinee at 2pm. Tickets are out now, call 01253 887693 to book. Marine Hall and Thornton Little Theatre

Or, put on your wellies and join the beach cleans at Fleetwood (20 October) and and Rossall Point (25 October). Help to keep our beaches and the Wyre estuary clean and free of litter. If you fancy something a bit more crafty, then come to Memorial Park, Fleetwood on Tuesday 23 October from noon to 3pm, or Wyre Estuary Country Park on Wednesday 24 October from 10.30am to noon for some fun Halloween crafts. Sessions at Memorial Park must be pre booked, call 01253 891000 to secure your space. At Stanah bring along your own pumpkins then create some spooky crafts!

There’s a free petrifying pumpkin carve taking place at Memorial Park in Fleetwood on Saturday 27 October from 11am to 1.30pm. It’s first come, first served so make sure you get there early!

There’ll also be scary face painting and glitter tattoos, balloon crafting and a creepy lucky dip! Tea, coffee and hot chocolate will be served by the Friends of Memorial Park volunteers.

Please be aware that there will be a small charge for individual activities as the Friends of the Memorial Park are fund raising.

There’s also the chance to take part in Xplorer Orienteering for children at Memorial Park on Sunday 28 October from 1pm to 3pm. Xplorer is a family friendly navigation challenge using a simple map. The aim is to find a number of markers that are located around the park. At each marker children need to identify what is pictured and enjoy learning a fun fact, it’s just 50p per child to take part.
