CONNECTING COMMUNITIES ... FLEETWOOD AND MIDDLEPORT

This week saw a 2 day event bring together the team behind a successful community project in Staffordshire with our own. Residents on the Middleport Estate, Stoke-on-Trent have made an amazing difference to their lives by taking control of issues like litter and neglected public spaces. Members of Healthier Fleetwood visited the estate on Tuesday 28th March to see the results for themselves and meet some of the people involved.

On the Wednesday it was Fleetwood's turn to be the hosts and welcome residents from Middleport and a similar project in Thanet to discuss the lessons learned along the way and the next steps. Healthier Fleetwood would like to thank everyone who gave up their time to attend and contribute. A full update and plans for the future will be posted soon.
