GOOD NEWS - 14th October

We start with congratulations to Fleetwood’s Lucy Macneill for winning the award as Frontline Hero at the IWFM Impact Awards 2021.

She was recognised by her peers in the Facilities Management industry as inspirational for her amazing contribution to the community.

As anyone who has worked or volunteered alongside Lucy will know this is thoroughly deserved for her expertise, commitment and passion to make a difference to those around her.

Lovely to see Harmony & Health celebrating this week too as they met, indoors at Marine Hall, Fleetwood.

It’s been a long time since the singers have been able to do this so a huge well done to everyone involved for keeping connected and supporting each other during these difficult times..

Sessions are now every Tuesday, 10.30am (for the Cleveleys group) and 1.30pm (Fleetwood group). New members welcome: call Shirley on 07940 030925.

We have now opened the ‘new’ Wellbeing & Community Information Centre at Affinity Lancashire.

You can now find us a little further round the outlet than before, past Katie’s Café and Regatta and opposite the Bonmarche store.

Inside you’ll find a wide range of information and news on the many groups, activities and events in Fleetwood supporting better physical and mental health for residents and visitors.

Macmillan Cancer Support is with us on Tuesdays for a drop-in session and Fleetwood’s Social Prescribers are also available for a chat on Fridays.
