Youngsters in Fleetwood will be entitled to free swimming sessions at the town's leisure centre during school holidays for a year. Healthier Fleetwood has helped deliver a two day course for residents to achieve their Level 2 Award in Understanding Health Improvement. Following up the recent tour of Warren Ward, residents, volunteers, councillors, businesses, health and care providers met at Fleetwood Library to map out some of the assets and opportunities for future projects. With the support of Lisa and Gill from Connecting Communities, who have experience of similar projects around the country, the group discussed possible next steps.
