FLEETWOOD PARKRUN

parkrun is a nationally coordinated programme with more than a million registered competitors taking part at one of over 400 locations across the UK. These are not races, the aim is for the individual to improve their times and therefore their health and fitness by regular attendance at one of the venues.

Autumn 2018 Update

The Fleetwood Promenade new parkrun is now on every Saturday from 9am, starting at the rear of Marine Hall and going along the prom to beyond Rossall Tower then back again. Over 150 people turned up for the first one which is now a popular addition to the local parkrun events elsewhere on the Fylde Coast.

To take part ...

... you will need to register in advance for your unique i.d. and barcode. Go to the official parkrun website here to register, it only take a few minutes and you will receive your details immediately.

Wyre Council, Fleetwood Town Community Trust and Healthier Fleetwood are among the partners supporting the Fleetwood Promenade parkrun.

Can you help?

As well as taking part, volunteers are needed every week to act as marshalls and timekeepers. To contact the organisers about volunteering please use the enquiry form here.
