Harmony & Health

The growth of virtual choirs, sing-alongs and lockdown concerts has been one of the positive aspects of recent months.

Here in Fleetwood and across Wyre we were already lucky to have the wonderful Harmony & Health Singers bringing together residents for good times, good company, and to support good health.

Of course the sessions at Marine Hall and local venues have been paused but that doesn't mean the music has stopped!

First by sharing CDs and songbooks, and now by popular weekly Zoom sessions H&H have been keeping in touch and keeping spirits up.

It's not the same as meeting in person but having something to look forward to and knowing you have friends thinking of you has been so valuable in these difficult times. When it's safe to do so, they will meet again and that's going to be some party!

A year ago members of the group were among the performers at a special concert celebrating diversity, raising funds for Trinity Hospice. You can see the finale to the concert here.
