Residents in Fleetwood are invited to suggest new community-based projects and apply for funding to get them started.

Healthier Fleetwood has funding of up to £100 available for individuals or groups with ideas that could boost local people’s physical or mental health and wellbeing. Bids are welcome from any project based in an FY7 postcode. It could be a music club for young people, a new sports activity, art in the community ... you tell us!

We want to keep the application process and straightforward as possible so start by getting in touch with us and share your idea. Be really positive, tell us the ways it will help residents and the community. there is some paperwork to complete before we approve your application but we can help you complete that.

You can email us via listening@healthierfleetwood.co.uk or call and leave a message on our answerphone at 07399 093835.

You can also come and see us at our weekly drop-in session at Fleetwood Library, every Wednesday 10am to 12 noon - no need to book. Our monthy Open Meetings are a great way to share your ideas with residents and get feedback. These meetings are the first Wednesday of the month, see this page for details.

However you get in touch, please do, as we love hearing your ideas and better still, helping you make them happen in Fleetwood!

Healthier Fleetwood worked in partnership with Lancashire County Council to receive this funding through the Department for Communities and Local Government which is supporting community-led efforts to give local people greater control over their services.
