Fleetwood GP, Mark Spencer will be running the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April to raise funds and awareness for the mental health charity MIND. Mark said, "Running a marathon at my age isn’t easy but nor is living with mental illness. It’s a dark, lonely, scary place. YMCA Fylde Coast is offering up to 60 young female residents from Fylde and Wyre an opportunity to focus on a new approach to fun and fitness. Following a successful bid to secure funding from Sport England, and with support from Lancashire Sport Partnership, young women in Fylde and Wyre can apply for a free two month pass to use in any of the 8 Fitness Studios, 5 Pools and over 200 classes per week in Fylde and Wyre.
