Fleetwood residents are invited to view plans for a new open space project within the Westview Community Centre allotments. Healthier Fleetwood has funding available to support projects in the community that will promote good physical and mental health for people living and working in FY7 postcodes. We want to hear your ideas and help you get them started. The most important thing is the idea comes from residents and benefits the Fleetwood community. It could be buying materials for an art group, instruments for a music club, equipment to clear an open space, room hire for an event - perhaps an activity club for youngsters in the October half-term or a Christmas social event. Within reason there are no bad ideas! So if a small amount of financial support makes the difference between your idea going ahead or not .

We heard some lovely, personal stories about why residents are getting involved and want to make a difference. We'll be announcing more details on some of the topics we discussed like funding for smal

Healthier Fleetwood is a not-for-profit organisation supporting the physical and mental health of the Town's residents by connecting them to each other, services and voluntary groups in the community. As an individual's confidence grows they take more control of their own wellbeing and an active role in the decisions that affect them. We are independent of but work in close partnership with the many organisations supporting the community.
