Are you in Year 11 or 12 and ready for the best summer of your life?
The Fleetwood Primary Care home has been nominated in the NHS Support Service Initiative of the Year category for the HSJ Value Awards 2019.
The awards from HSJ (the Health Service Journal) recognise excellent use of resources, and also seek out examples of demonstrable improvement in outcomes, both within back office functions and clinical initiatives.
A ‘primary care home’ is not a physical building, it’s a partnership of a Town’s healthcare professionals (GPs, nursing teams, pharmacists, dentists, mental health teams, physios, support workers and more) and in Fleetwood’s case also residents through the work of Healthier Fleetwood.
This is the latest in several nominations and awards for the partnership work taking place in the Fleetwood community.
Out of hundreds of entries, 166 projects and initiatives were selected as finalists for the awards. The final round of judging will take place in April where shortlisted organisations will present their projects to a panel of experts and NHS leaders and we will be inviting residents to part of ‘Team Fleetwood’. The awards ceremony takes place in Manchester on 23rd May.
