It's OK To Talk About Cancer @ Marine Hall

We all know that cancer in it’s many forms can be devastating but this event isn’t just about prevention and cures, it focuses on the many positive ways an individual or a family can learn to live with the condition and plan for the future.

Hosted by the NHS, MacMillan Cancer Support and other partners working in and around Fleetwood the afternoon will include a line-up of presentations, demonstrations and advice covering subjects such as healthy eating, sun safety, the importance of being active, practical support, advance care and much more.

Residents will share their stories too … listening to others who have experienced what you or a loved one are going through can provide great comfort for your own journey.

It’s a free event, no need to book. Just turn up from 12.45pm, browse the stalls and take part in the discussions.

  • Refreshments will be available.
  • Car-parking is available close to Marine Hall and on the Esplanade.

Make an appointment and we’ll contact you.
