Dancing is another great way to enjoy some gentle exercise while you socialise and have fun.
Marine Hall host a tea dance accompanied by live keyboard music every Monday afternoon (except Bank Holidays) from 2pm to 4pm. The events regularly attract around 100 people and new dancers are always welcome. There is a charge of £4.50 and refreshments are available.
See the Marine Hall website for more information and the schedule … there’s a special event for Christmas on the 16th December with Chris Hopkins providing the music.
The North Euston Hotel also hosts a weekly tea dance in their ballroom on a Thursday afternoon, 2pm to 4pm and the £4.50 fee includes tea & coffee. Contact the hotel first in case of any changes.
And if you want to take your dancing a little more seriously you might want to check out the The Crown Ballroom based at Farmer Parrs Animal World who hold classes and social events throughout the year.
