Looking to volunteer … on your bike!
This is our second community arts course and the first was a great success.
The course is for anyone aged 18 or over who feels their wellbeing will be helped by getting involved. You’ll learn several art techniques and styles but it isn’t about how good you are with a brush or pencil … it’s about relaxing, spending time with others, enjoying the sessions and expressing yourself.
All the materials and equipment is provided and refreshments are available.
To start with there’s a ‘welcome’ session on Thursday 14th February from 10am to 1pm. You’ll meet some of those who took part in the first course and hear their stories, and also the local artists leading the course.
You can stay as long as you like and there’s no obligation to sign up but if you want to the course officially starts on 21st February then every Thursday until 25th April.
If you can’t make the session or want to ask a question on somebody else’s behalf you can also email firstname.lastname@example.org or leave your name and number on our answerphone at 07399 093835. Spaces are limited and priority will be given to residents from FY7 postcodes.
