Are you in Year 11 or 12 and ready for the best summer of your life?
There are a number of wonderful places to visit in and around Fleetwood as part of the annual Heritage Open Days events programme from 13th to 22nd September in association with Wyre Council.
Find out all about Fleetwood’s past with a rare chance to see inside the Lower Lighthouse. Take a walk around Memorial Park and its surrounding area with Dick Gillingham or take an opportunity to find out about the heritage of Fleetwood’s cemetery and the people buried there who helped shape, build and support the town.
Fancy a trip to the coast? Rossall Point are hosting a number of events where you can join Lancashire Wildlife Trust looking for seals, porpoises and dolphins. Watch the last of our summer birds and the migration of wintering birds.
Opening dates and times vary for each venue and event and full details can be found in the Heritage Open Day guide at www.wyre.gov.uk/hodleaflet
