Further funding for Active Lancashire and their work in Fleetwood
Not all forms of illness and disability are obvious and sometimes it’s easy to make judgements about an individual’s wellbeing without knowing the facts.
The Invisible Illness group was set up by Rachel and Sharn because of their personal experience of coping with hidden health conditions and they now offer peer support for others suffering from chronic pain, depression, fatigue and more.
They meet on Thursday evenings at Fleetwood Fire Station and there’s no judgements, no questions. You can come along to listen and share your story when you want to with no pressure.
Please contact the organisers Rachel (07706 549233) and Sharn (07948 675189) if you have any questions and to check the sessions over the holiday period.
