Are you in Year 11 or 12 and ready for the best summer of your life?
Looking outside sometimes it may not seem like the best idea but gardening and working in the fresh air is a great way to improve your wellbeing.
The Wyre Council gardening club at Memorial Park is on Wednesday mornings 9.30am – 12 noon and Friday afternoons 12.30pm – 4pm.
The demonstration garden has six raised beds, three ‘yardens’, a 30ft x 10ft poly-tunnel, a large fruit bed, vegetable and perennial flower beds and a teaching space in the pavilion.
All abilities are welcome even if you have limited knowledge or capability. Just come along to a session to learn (or share) gardening skills, and enjoy a brew and a chat.
If you’d like to know more about the Gardening Club, contact Healthier Fleetwood and we can put you in touch.
